How to Order
On-Line: You're going to like shopping with MyHammocks.com. It's just like ordering from a catalog, only easier. Ordering is as secure as it is easy. Most people never need help, but if you do, step-by-step instructions are only a click away.
By Mail: Your convenience is important to us. If you find our Shopping Cart to be easy, please fill it out. If you'd rather send a personal letter, we ask that you specify the number of each item you're purchasing, its item number, name, size, color, if applicable. Be sure to tell us your daytime phone number, too, in case we have any questions. We'll gladly accept a credit card payment if you'll write the card number and its expiration date. Payment Methods
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All orders placed via this website are secure. This means that your credit card number and all other sensitive information will be protected by encryption.
For your convenience we also added PayPal as your payment method. Which keep all your credit card private and is easy to use.
We also accept checks or money orders. There will be a $25.00 service charge on returned checks. Sorry, we cannot accept C.O.D. orders from first-time customers.
Overseas customers please note: The only method of payment for foreign orders is by wire electronically to our bank account, please email Sales@MyHammocks.com for account information.

Order Verification Policy
In order to protect you from credit card fraud or identity theft, all orders will be verified before shipping. All orders may require a 24-48 hour period of time for normal verification purposes. If we can't verify the correct information, there will be a considerable delay in the processing of your order. We will notify you by phone or email if that should be the case.
All orders placed with a credit card, must submit the billing address of the credit card (where you receive your monthly credit card statements).
If the billing address is a P.O. Box we will require shipping to your residence or business address and that address must be listed with directory assistance.
If you need to ship to an alternative address, the shipping address must be listed with a yellow pages directory assistance, such as www.superpages.com.

International Order Verification
In order to protect our customers from credit card fraud or identity theft, all orders will be verified before shipping. Since we will not ship without this verification, please avoid delays in the processing of your order by submitting complete information.
If you need an alternative address, call the toll-free number on your credit card. Ask the issuer to create an alternate shipping address, which is simply a note on your credit card account which authorizes purchase to be delivered to a destination other than your billing address.
Either way, you'll need to send a copy of both the front and back of the credit card being used, plus a copy of the most recent statement of your account. Please Fax those documents to 718-497-2168, or email to Support@MyHammocks.com.
International orders do not apply APO/AFO military addresses, Puerto Rico, all other US territories, or Canada.

Sales Tax Policy
Sales Tax: We collect state sales tax when shipping to the state of New York.
International Tax: All International orders may subject to import fees, duty, customs, VAT charges or additional taxes when the package arrives in the country of their shipping destination. MyHammocks is not responsible nor can we offer any specific advice on fees or additional taxes that you may be charged when your merchandise arrives.
We cannot make refunds to customers who do not receive shipments because they have declined to pay these costs.
We recommend that you contact the appropriate government agency for your country/locale before placing your order and ask for information about these potential charges, so you know in advance what your total charges will be.

30 days return policy
We think you'll agree that My Hammocks has the best return policy in the industry.
You have 30 days from the date of invoice to return the merchandise for full refund on your credit card.
Inspect the merchandise when it arrives, and if you're not fully satisfied you can return it for a full refund (less the shipping charge), as long as you haven't used it. We won't even ask why you've changed your mind. You'll need the original manufacturers labeled packaging with all materials, manuals and blank warranty cards.
We reserve the right to deny returns. After 30 days if your return is accepted there might be a 20%+ restocking fee.
Simply email us Returns@MyHammocks.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization form, and phone our customer service department at 718-417-5145. Ask for an RMA number, fill out the form, package the items securely and include the RMA form along with a copy of the original invoice, and send it prepaid and insured to:

In fairness, we will expect you to pay the shipping and handling charges, No Restocking Fee will apply to any return meeting the requirements.
No packages will be accepted without an R.M.A. number on the outside of the box.
Merchandise returned without authorization or in used condition or not in its original packaging will be refused, and the carrier will charge you freight in both directions.

Out of Stock
As you know, My Hammocks buyers travel the world to find the best products at the lowest prices possible, and then stock our huge warehouse. That means you're going to see prices here at My Hammocks that nobody else can match.
Sometimes even our buyers are surprised at just how popular some of the products they've found are with Outdoor people like you. And we examine every item as it's packed to make sure you'll be delighted when you unpack it. If we find a problem, we'll immediately pull the item.
So, as you can see, in very rare instances we will run out of stock, even while the item is marked "In Stock." On those rare occasions, our Customer Service Department will contact you. If you agree, we'll arrange for our suppliers to quickly re-supply us. You'll see your items marked as back ordered (or BO) on your invoice. We'll ship your items as soon as they arrive. You'll never pay additional shipping on back ordered merchandise, and you may cancel at any time. Simply call our Customer Service Department at (718) 417-5145

Corporate and Government Sales
We buy in quantity, and that means two things to you. We are able to offer our merchandise at substantial savings, and with the inventory in stock in our vast warehouse and mail order facilities, we can handle your entire commercial, corporate, Camps or Camp Ground orders. Our trained staff will courteously welcome your bids and, of course, your direct mail or phone inquiries.
Purchase Orders: All recognized government agencies, schools, and universities may order through an open account, if accompanied by an original purchase order.

Damaged in Delivery
We package carefully so that your merchandise arrives ready to give you years of enjoyment. For your own protection do not sign for merchandise until you've inspected for damage.
If you've found damage or if merchandise is missing, please keep the original shipping carton and contact your local United Parcel Service office for a Damage Inspection Report. UPS will issue a Damage Call Tag. Contact our Customer Service Department with the Damage Call Tag number and we'll arrange for reorder or credit.
Please don't return the merchandise without going through these steps, because it will delay replacement of your order or the issuance of credit.

Defective Merchandise

Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order before it's shipped for any reason. You'll receive a full refund. Please call our Customer Service Department at: 718-417-5145. Customer Service is available from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm Eastern time Monday - Thursday,
If the merchandise has already been shipped you'll have to pay all of the shipping and handling charges.
If we've specially ordered merchandise for you, it's non-cancelable.

General Information and Misprints
By placing an order you're making an offer to purchase items from our catalog or web site. If we accept your offer, it will be ruled by the laws of the State of New York, which will apply to this transaction as well as to any dispute that could arise.
My Hammocks has no idea what you'll do with anything we sell and can't project the fitness or merchantability of any item. (That's legalese for "Don't do anything stupid with these things, cause we can't be responsible. OK)? We'll be responsible for the refund or replacement of any non-functioning merchandise, but what happens when you use it is on you.
If you don't agree to these terms, then don't open the package. Send it back to us within five days by UPS Ground Service, and we'll give you a full refund of your purchase price, less shipping and handling.
Misprints: My Hammocks.com promises excellent service and highest quality at the lowest price.
We make every effort to provide you with an error-free website. If there is an error, we are responsible for correcting the misprint or pricing to reflect the actual current status. Pictures are provided for illustration purposes only, and may not be exact. Illustrations are provided to display the products, and may include items not necessarily included in the purchase price.
